This is an exciting mod, it features roving dogs that will attack you and chase you, planes that fly overhead and drop bombs in several places in each map, and a tank that roams the map and shoots into buildings and other favorite hiding spots. This mod adds a whole new dimension to the game, it forces you to stay on your toes and quite effectively limits the ability to camp in one spot for any length of time! It also comes with a seperate weapons mod that is rather unusual, it makes all rifles semi-auto, adds scopes to machine guns, and also my favorite, the long range pistol bash. The downside to all this modding is that sometimes it can cause the server to be laggy, you may notice wild fluctuations in pings while running this mod.However, for a refreshing change of pace, it is definitely worth a try! Note: the mod only works for stock maps.

Snowy Park Day Mod V2

This mod simply clears the air in everyone's favorite map, Snowy Park. It eliminates a lot of the fog and turns the sky from night to day. If you are running that map, it certainly makes it more appealing to those that aren't very keen on it.

This popular mod is helpful especially for generating specific server-side mods to remove weapons, add scopes, etc. It installs as a program and has an interface that allows you to select option for either server or client side, and when you are done choosing,it generates a .pk3 file to place in your main folder. This program is especially helpful for the beginning server admin, who doesn't know a lot about mods and how they work. It is fairly simple and easy to use.

As it turns out, I found two versions of this mod. There is the one for Stalingrad, it is a little older and doesn't have the laser guns.The newer one runs on The Hunt, V2 Rocket Facility, and The Bridge, but it has laser guns in it. The main difference is that in the older one, you have to walk up and stand by the frozen person for a few seconds to unfreeze him. In the newer one, you can still do this, but you also have a "laser gun" which you can use by right clicking to unfreeze from afar.

Rating: 3.5 out 5 --- it's fun, but only for a few maps at a time. If it had a wider variety of maps it would be even better I think.
